About LunchFilter

LunchFilter was created by Jordan Isip and Adam Hindman. We live and work near The Ave, and when lunch came around we were having trouble deciding which of the dozens of perfectly good restaurants we should go to. Too many choices.

So, we made a very simple tool to solve this problem. Here's how it works: If you live in one of the neighborhoods we've mapped, just select the kinds of foods you're hungry for, and LunchFilter will show you some restaurants that you might like. It'll also tell you something about the restaurants—whether they deliver, whether they've got a coupon, that sort of thing. For now we've left restaurant ratings and reviews up to those crazy yelpers. But if there is enough demand for ratings and reviews to be on LunchFilter, we can add it.

LunchFilter is small, fast, and easy to use. It's personalized for your neighborhood, so it's accurate and up-to-date. It's fun, and, if properly used, it can keep you from starving to death.
